They were there for me

There was a time in my life when I felt completely lost.

I was going from treatment center to treatment center, trying desperately to do better for myself and rebuild my life. But everywhere I turned, it felt like nobody believed in me anymore — not even the people closest to me.

I was arguing with my family, my sisters, and even my parents. I had made mistakes in my life that led me down a dark path, and eventually I found myself in a situation where I had to somehow crawl my way back out on my own.

It was one of the hardest times of my life.

I had burned bridges.
I was broke.
I was homeless.
And worst of all, my children had been taken from me.

Every day felt like survival mode.

The only stability I had was moving from one treatment center to another because at least I had somewhere to sleep. Without treatment programs, I honestly did not know where I would go.

That was when I contacted Seraphim Promise.

I explained my situation honestly. I told them I had been going from treatment center to treatment center simply trying to survive and better myself. I explained that without those programs, I would likely be homeless again.

Instead of judging me, they listened.

They agreed to allow me into the Seraphim Boost Program once I completed my rehabilitation program and received my completion certificate.

That decision changed my life.

I stayed in the Boost Program for eight months.

During that time, Seraphim Promise helped me with transportation, gave me a roof over my head, and most importantly, provided support when I needed someone to talk to, someone to guide me, and someone who actually believed I could succeed.

For the first time in a long time, I felt supported instead of condemned.

Slowly, things started changing.

I secured employment.
I regained stability.
I moved into my own apartment.
And eventually, I got my children back.

That moment alone made every struggle worth it.

But the story did not stop there.

A year later, I bought my own home.

What once felt impossible became reality.

Today, I wake up grateful for the second chance I was given. My life is not perfect, but it is stable, peaceful, and filled with hope. I have my children, my home, and a future I once thought I would never have.

Seraphim Promise did more than provide assistance.
They gave me the opportunity to rebuild my life when I felt like the world had given up on me.

The Seraphim Boost Program is not just about housing or resources.
It is about believing in people during the moments when they struggle to believe in themselves.

Recovery is possible.
Healing is possible.
A new beginning is possible.

I am living proof.
