Guidance, Support, and a Second Chance at Success - Here’s My Story…

I was never officially a participant in the Seraphim Boost Program, but the staff at Seraphim Promise still changed my life in ways I will never forget.

Growing up was difficult for me.

My parents struggled with drug addiction, and as a young teenager, I did not have much guidance or support when it came to graduating high school, making positive decisions, or even understanding what a successful future could look like for someone like me.

Honestly, I felt lost most of the time.

I did not know where to begin or how to create a path for myself. I was surrounded by negativity and situations that could have easily pulled me in the wrong direction.

But then I met the staff at Seraphim Promise.

Ana, Angela, and Lavandis were always there for me when I needed advice, encouragement, or someone to help steer me in the right direction. They believed in me during times when I struggled to believe in myself.

Their support meant more than words can explain.

I helped whenever I could during outreach events, and I also assisted with distributing Angel Plates to people in need. Being around the organization showed me what compassion, purpose, and community support truly looked like.

Seraphim Promise helped me stay focused on my goals instead of allowing the negativity around me to define my future.

Their encouragement kept me strong.

Because of that support, I graduated high school.

Not long after, I enlisted in the military.

I proudly completed four years of service and received an honorable discharge. That accomplishment changed the direction of my life and gave me confidence, structure, and opportunities I never thought I would have.

Today, I am living independently.
I have my own car.
I have my own apartment.
And for the first time in my life, I truly feel hopeful about my future.

Now I am working toward even bigger goals — finishing college courses and eventually becoming a homeowner.

My journey was not easy, and I still have goals I want to accomplish, but I can honestly say that having positive people believe in me made all the difference.

Sometimes, all a person needs is guidance, encouragement, and someone willing to remind them that their future still matters.

Seraphim Promise was that support system for me.

And because of that, my life changed for the better.
